Tin Can Gin
Formed in Duluth in 2011 by Harrison Olk, Trevor Marrin, and Bryan Nelson, later joined by Nori Schwenzfeier (fiddle) and Neil Krause (bass). Tin Can Gin toured the upper Midwest and released two albums, Tin Can Gin and Coming Home, both recorded at Sacred Heart Music Center in Duluth, MN.
Hot Tamale Cosmos
is a new Northland group featuring Erin Aldridge, Colleen “Boss Mama” Myhre, Jocelyn Mickelsen, Jen Krussow, and Sonja Martin. With backgrounds in bands like Feeding Leroy, Junkyard Mule, and Ross Thorn Band, they perform originals and covers of Iris Dement, Bob Dylan, and Gillian Welch.
