Join us for another LIVE! Author Talk. This time, we have Frank Bures in The Outback.
Frank’s work has appeared in many publications including Harper’s, Outside, and The Atlantic to name a few. His stories have been included in The Best American Travel Writing anthologies and he is the author of The Geography of Madness, editor of Under Purple Skies, and producer of audio history tours for VoiceMap. He grew up on the Mississippi River in Winona, Minnesota and lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
His latest publication, Pushing the River, is a collection of true stories recounting canoeing adventures on the Mississippi River, exploring themes of ambition, terror, friendship, and the forgotten history of the Paul Bunyan Canoe Derby.
