Importance of Being Earnest Cold Public Reading – Act 1

Join us in The Outback for a cold reading of Oscar Wilde’s last play, The Importance of Being Earnest, in preparation for the June 2025 CTA production of the show. The director, Lawrence Lee, will be facilitating the reading, and all are welcome to read.
There will be a discussion after each reading to reflect on insights gleaned. The LGBTQ community is especially welcome to relate the text to their own lived experience.
Actors interested in auditioning (April 7-8) for the show are especially encouraged to attend.
