We’ll be topping off Small Business Saturday with the talents of Cellist Ed Willet and vocalist Cheryl Leah, orged by the metropolis but sustained by the wilderness..
Chance coalesced in Los Angeles California, a coming together of two musicians with wildly diverse backgrounds. One of the few voice and cello duos in the world, theirs is a truly rare and exciting musical experiment. Their work is intricate, strong, and undiluted.
In January of 2026 Chance will be celebrating their 40th consecutive season of concertizing together. After many years of working in the Los Angeles music scene, this remarkable duo of writer/performers packed up and moved to the epicenter of the music industry–Highbridge Wisconsin. While making their homebase in northern Wisconsin they continued to tour the U.S. from California to New York, San Antonio to Alaska and many stops in between.
Cheryl is an 18 year alum of the Blue Canvas Orchestra, the house band of the music festival, Lake Superior Big Top Chautauqua and Ed is continuing on into his 31st season, the last couple of decades as one of its musical directors.
