The 68th Herbster Community Club Smelt Fry (and Whitefish too)

The Herbster Community Club will host its 68th Herbster Smelt Fish Fry & Raffle on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Historic Log Gym, 86870 Lenawee Road in Herbster.
The annual event invites the community to come together for good food, friends, and a great cause. Guests can enjoy a classic Northwoods meal featuring fried smelt and whitefish, baked beans, cole slaw, bread, and beverages. Beer and wine will also be available.
Admission is $15 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 12, and free for kids 5 and under.
In addition to the fish fry, attendees can take part in hourly raffles and drawings totaling more than $7,000, including a $1,000 grand prize.
According to the event flyer, profits from the fundraiser will support scholarships and community projects.
The event is sponsored by the Herbster Community Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
