Professor Karri L. Fritz-Klaus will be in town to help kick off Art Escape with a lecture on one of Wisconsin’s most prominent artists—Georgia O’Keeffe. Born in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, O’Keeffee became the Southwest’s Matron Saint of the Brush. Her signature style was abstracting from nature– monumentalizing something small in the interest of surprising viewers intot taking time to look at it.
