Cornucopia Day

Cornucopia Day is a community event focused on raising funds to maintain the Emergency Services of the South Shore area.

Proceeds or profits from a number of events go directly to the Cornucopia Fire Department and the South Shore Ambulance.

The day’s events include:

  • Sandcastle Contest
  • Brats
  • Hotdogs and Corn
  • Beer Sales
  • Fish on a Stick
  • Parade
  • Fun Run

Flyer titled “Cornucopia Day Vendor Policies” outlines 12 rules for vendors participating in the event. Policies include site request timing (starting July 1), priority for local and returning vendors, site dimensions (approx. 11 feet wide), and requirements to bring display materials. The 2024 site fee is $25 by check or cash, due the morning of the event. Nonprofits are not charged but donations are welcome. Double sites may be requested with a $25-value merchandise donation. No overnight security is provided. Parking on Siskiwit Bay Parkway is prohibited, but vendors may park behind their site if space allows. Cleanup is required after the event.
