2026 Dock of the Bay Fest

2nd Annual Dock of the Bay Fest will bring back crowd favorites like visits with the US Coast Guard, food trucks & beer garden, and local craft & farm market.
Celebrate summer on Lake Superior during Dock of the Bay Fest, held Saturday, August 1, 2026, at and around Ashland’s historic Ore Dock.
The festival will feature a full day of live music, food trucks, local growers, art, sailing activities, tours and family-friendly attractions. Food and music will run from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., with most other activities scheduled from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

- 11 a.m. — Golden Era Jazz, from Ashland
- 1 p.m. — Groove Project, from Washburn
- 3:30 p.m. — Lars Nelson Band, from Minneapolis
- 6 p.m. — Henry Bitzer & Sunday Best, from Nashville
- 8:30 p.m. — John Lisi & Delta Funk, from New Orleans
Food and Drinks
Food trucks and local growers will offer a variety of festival food, including:
- Fish fry
- Sweet treats
- Locally produced foods
A beer garden will serve local and domestic beers, seltzers and cider.
Art and Creative Activities
The Chequamegon Bay Arts Council Fine Art Fair will feature locally created artwork and handmade treasures from area artisans.
Plein air activities will also be offered. Visitors can paint their own masterpiece or learn from special guest artist Greg Alexander.

Festival attractions include:
- Lake Superior Tall Ships: Learn about sailing aboard the Abbey Road and the Zeeto from Bayfield.
- Coast Guard Meet-and-Greet: Visit with members of the local Coast Guard crew.
- Skateboarding with SPARK: Try out skateboards and ramps provided at the festival.
- WVCB Radio Broacasting live from the Ore Dock: Come say hi and find out how you can participate in local, all-volunteer community radio!
- Additional activities and attractions throughout the day.
